Glad you're here. Can I get you a glass of water? Are you hungry? I have some chips and salsa if you want some... no? OK, let's just get right into it, shall we? See my current work below or browse through my other schtufffs by clicking above. Hope you enjoy your stay.
As a culture, we are finally shifting to discuss Women's Issues. My work expresses questions about identity, safety, sexuality, consciousness, fear, and is approached with trust and playfulness using mainly oil paint and found objects to engage the viewer mentally, physically, and emotionally. We live in a society connected through social media where you can view the curated version (whether by an individual or by the media) of someone's life. Though we may think we know someone, we truly can't know someone in a digital world. You'll never be able to fully engage with my work via the Internet nor social media due to its texture. Each piece occupies a certain space, evoking a certain energy, and begs for a more intimate connection than the digital world can provide.
